This is a plane restraint system that
has been in effect at Charlotte Radio Control Society, Hudson Field.
The system was set up and installed by Jim McClary and has proven to be
extremely effective for the last several years.
Strong enough to hold any size model plane (Common sense tells us not to
start our planes at elevated throttle settings)
"Caution" Be sure to install solid wooden dowels in
the entire length of each leg. The dowels are not needed in the cross pieces.

The Restraints are made from PVC pipe. The pads are
plastic air conditioner pads, but with a simple form, concrete is easy
enough to do.
1-3/4" sockets are set in concrete at about 18"
deep. The spacing for ours is approximately 3-1/2'.
The overall height is dependant upon your needs.
We have used ours for some of the largest planes out there.
Easy to set up
Easy to remove from behind once your engine is
started.
